Congratulations Hawley Softball - Area Champions |

Hawley played Sonora for Area playoff. Hawley won the first game 2-1 on Friday. We played Saturday, Sonora won the 2nd game 3-6, and that forced us to a 3rd game at 2:00. We scored one run the first inning and held on to the run for seven innings to win 1-0 and be the Area champs.
Hawley plays Early in the next round for regional quarter final. Games will be Friday @ 7pm and Saturday @ 12 and 2(if necessary). All games will be held in Eastland.

Three-peat ! Hawley Track wins three straight District track titles! |

Seth Manly, hurdler/pole vaulter/jumper, Sr., Hawley boys track -- Helped the Bearcats to their third straight district title by qualifying for regionals in five events.
Manly placed second in the 110 hurdles (15.72), the 300 hurdles (39.26) and the pole vault (11'-0"), and also ran the third leg for the second-place 800 relay team (1:33.42). He also took the bronze in the long jump at 19'-9".
According to Hawley records, the Bearcats' last district track title before the current streak came way back in 1971.
