Hawley Bearcats of all ages…. We are so excited that we are close to revealing the full remodel of the “old gym”, which will now be known as the “elementary gym”! Renovation of an old facility is always challenging, and I truly feel that we have hit a good balance of preserving the history of the building, while creating a new, fresh, and safe space for our elementary kids. We want to dedicate the building to bearcats young and old. We are asking anyone with photos, memorabilia, news clippings, etc. tied to the history of the facility to bring them up to the administration office so that we can make them part of a memorial display in the new foyer of the gymnasium. Anything you bring up can be returned to you. We just want to make sure that everyone has an opportunity for their loved one to be honored in dedicating this building. We are hoping for an open house in early to mid-February. Anything you can contribute will be greatly appreciated! Here is just a sneak peek of the changes.
