" I just want to thank everyone who helped with the shoe box snacks this year. We ended up making 80 boxes. This could not have been done without you!! 22 boxes will go to the elderly in Hawley that receive meals on wheels, 30 boxes will go to Abilene Christian services and 28 boxes will go to elderly in Abilene meals on wheels that really don't have anyone else looking out for them.  This year some of the 8th high school art class went with us to deliver the boxes. Katie Alfred, Elizabeth Cummings, Jake Hines, Graci Harbert, and Tristyn Davis. The two others that helped with the boxes were Ryland Trojcak and Kamern Cunningham. These guys did a really good job on the boxes.  Thank you again for all the support for the Christmas shoe boxes. We will start collecting shoe boxes for next year at the end of the year and during the summer.
